the youth literary policy magazine is accepting submissions now through may 2025.
issues are published biannually.
general guidelines:
– author must be aged 13-21 at the time of submission
– each author is limited to two submissions per publishing period
– research submissions have a word limit of 3000 words, creative writing has 1000 words
– creative writing must be either prose or poetry
– all submissions should be in either word doc or PDF format
– all submissions should not have a file size exceeding 100 MB
– submissions will be ran through an AI detector
research guidelines:
research can either be:
– an opinion piece on any policy backed with research
– a feature article that aims to educate readers on a issue/policy
research must include:
– title
– introduction
– citations and references should be in either MLA or APA format
